This is where everything that we went over in What are Components?, Component Types, Creating Components and What are Templates? comes to fruition. We are so happy that you got here!

We already did most of the heavy work when we created our Sales Call Analysis Component. Now we just have to create a Template that has that Component, and any other Component we want, add a relevant Description to our Template so Jamy assigns it to meetings accurately, like we explained in What are Templates?, and that's it!

Let's got to the Report Creator section and click on Templates:

Go to Create Template to get started

Let's get familiarized with the Create Template view

We have 2 main sections:

1. General Information

  • Name: It's important to add a relevant name since Jamy can use that name to match it with a meeting name when defining which Template to use (we go over this in detail in What are Templates?)

  • Description: Also very important to add a relevant description since Jamy will attempt to match that description with the meeting content to define which Template to use in case the Template name and the meeting name don't match (explained in more detail in What are Templates?)

  • Editors: You give permission to Users from your organization to edit the Template by choosing them in the Editor dropdown.

  • Tasks and Topics: Enable the toggle if you want Jamy to generate the Tasks and Topics sections of the Report when using this Template.

In this example we do want the Template to include Topics and Tasks and we don't one anybody else as Editor.

This is the exact text we are using as a Description:

This Template is meant to be used in Sales Calls between one or more sales people from our team and representatives from the potential customer. In the call we want to understand the lead's or prospect's main pain points ,requirements and necessities. In this type of call we also want to understand whether has tried to solve their problem already and which tools have they used and which results the've gotten. We also want to confirm that the lead already has an approved budget to implement a solution as well as the priority and timeline to do it. This Template should be implemented solely for Sales meetings or calls that fit that description.

Components List

This section allows you to choose which Components will be included in this Templates. Remember, Components are the building blocks of Templates. A Template is like a wrapper for the list of Components you want your Report to have.

Just click on the + sign to add any Component to the Template. Chosen Components will appear on the right.

That's it, both components where added and now we can create our Template

Now you can go ahead and assign this Template to a future meeting

Remember that even if you don't manually assign the Template to the meeting, if the meeting name contains the Template name or the Meeting content matches the Template description, Jamy will automatically choose the correct Template to generate the Report.
