What you get
Once Slack is connected, you can:
Share a meeting report to a Slack channel
Create a group message with meeting participants in Slack
Keep discussion in Slack (including asking Jamy about that meeting in a thread)
Optionally send the same report by email in the same share flow
Jamy does not automatically post every report to Slack. You choose when to share, and where.
Integrations require a plan that includes integrations. If you don’t have access, Jamy may prompt you to upgrade.
How to connect Slack
Log in to Jamy.
Open Integrations in the left-hand menu
Direct link: https://app.jamy.ai/integrationsFind Slack in the integrations grid.
Description: Share summaries to channels
Tip: use Search integrations… or the Available tab if the list is long.
Click Connect.
You’ll be redirected to Slack’s authorisation screen (not Trello).
Review the permissions. Slack may ask you to pick a channel for the initial app install / webhook — this is for setup only; Jamy will not post all reports there.
Click Allow.
Return to Jamy. On Integrations, Slack should show a Connected badge.
You can also open the connect flow from a report share screen via Install Jamy's Slack app if Slack isn’t connected yet.
Share a report to Slack
Open a meeting report (from Recordings, or a Processed / Sent meeting on Calendar).
Click Share.
Choose Send via email / Slack (opens Share Meeting Report).
Under Send via, tick Slack.
If Slack isn’t connected, you’ll see a prompt to install Jamy’s Slack app.
Under Slack Destination, choose where to send:
A specific channel (searchable list), or
Create group message with participants
Add or confirm recipients if you’re also sending by email.
Click Send Report.
Slack destination tips
Limits & notes:
Group messages are limited to 8 people. If there are more recipients, pick a channel instead.
For private channels, invite @jamy as a member. Otherwise the channel may not appear in the list and posting can fail.
Helper text in the app: Choose a specific channel or create a group message with meeting participants.
You can also Copy sharing link or Download PDF from the same modal.
After you share to Slack
When a report is shared to Slack, Jamy can:
Post the report summary / share into the destination you chose
Help continue the conversation in Slack around that meeting
Ask Jamy about the meeting in Slack
In the Slack thread for that report:
Mention / tag Jamy.
Ask a question about the meeting (decisions, tasks, what was said, next steps, etc.).
Jamy answers using the context of that meeting — like a chat assistant that has read the report.
This is useful for teammates who live in Slack and don’t want to open the full Jamy report for every question.
Check that you’re connected
Go to Integrations.
Optionally open the Connected tab or search for “Slack”.
Confirm the green Connected badge on the Slack card.
On a report, if Slack is connected, the share modal shows a Slack checkbox under Send via.
Requirements & tips
Plan must include integrations.
A Slack workspace admin may need to approve the Jamy app.
Add @jamy to private channels before sharing there.
Prefer a dedicated channel for important clients/teams rather than very large group DMs.
Sharing is manual — connect Slack once, then share each report when you’re ready.
For automatic email behaviour (not Slack), see Configuring Notifications.
