This article explains which notifications Jamy sends and how to enable or disable each one in the current app.
Where to find Notifications
After you log in, open Settings using any of these paths:
Option 1 — Direct link
https://app.jamy.ai/settings/notifications
Option 2 — Settings overview
Go to https://app.jamy.ai/settings, then under Branding & Customizations, click the Notifications card.
Option 3 — Account menu
Click your profile/account menu in the top-right corner → under Branding & Customizations, select Notifications.
What the page looks like
The Notifications page shows:
Title: Notifications
Subtitle: Configure email notifications and meeting messages
Back to Settings link at the top
One card with four toggle switches (saved instantly when toggled)
A custom message field for the meeting join chat (only when that option is enabled)
Note: The old onboarding flow at
/welcome(step 5) is no longer used for this. Notifications now live in the Settings hub.
Notification options (in order)
1. Send meeting report to all participants automatically
Label:
Send meeting report to all participants automatically after meeting ends.
What it does
Manual sharing (when OFF)
From the meeting report page, use Share → Send via email / Slack to:
Choose recipients
Send by email and/or Slack (if Slack is connected)
Download a PDF or share a link
Tip: Hover the info icon (ℹ️) next to this option for the same explanation in the app.
2. Send task assignment emails to participants
Label:
Send individual email to participants with the tasks assigned to them after each meeting.
What it does
Jamy detects action items/tasks from meetings and assigns them to the relevant participant.
When ON (default), each participant gets a separate email with only the tasks assigned to them.
When these emails are sent
Automatically after the meeting, if automatic report sending (option 1) is enabled, or
When you manually share/send the meeting report to participants.
3. Send email when a task is completed
Label:
Send an email to the meeting organizer and users assigned to the task when you complete that task.
What it does
When someone marks a task as completed, Jamy can email:
The meeting organizer
The user(s) assigned to that task
Use this to keep everyone updated on follow-up progress without checking the app.
4. Meeting join chat message
Label:
Customize or deactivate the text Jamy sends in the meeting chat when joining.
What it does
How to customize the message
Turn the toggle ON.
Edit the text area (placeholder: “Text Jamy sends”).
Click Save (only this field uses a Save button; toggles save automatically).
How changes are saved
Toggle switches — Save immediately. You’ll see: “Notification is updated correctly.”
Join chat message text — Requires clicking Save after editing.
Defaults (typical behavior)
Your exact defaults are loaded from your user profile when you open the page.
Related settings (not on this page)
These are separate from Notifications but affect what you receive or how reports are delivered:
Quick reference
Summary
Jamy’s Notifications settings control four behaviors: automatic report delivery, task assignment emails, task completion emails, and the in-meeting join message. All are managed from Settings → Notifications (/settings/notifications) with instant toggle saves and a dedicated Save button only for the join chat text.
If you want this saved as a markdown file in the repo or published to your help center, switch to Agent mode and I can add it for you.
