Change join rules from Settings or Integrations

Settings → Calendar

  1. Go to Settings → Calendar.

  2. Connect Google and/or Outlook if needed.

  3. On a connected calendar card, open Jamy will join.

  4. Pick an option — it saves when you select it.

  5. Use Disconnect if you need to remove that calendar.

Integrations

  1. Open Integrations (or click the pencil next to Connected calendar on Calendar).

  2. Manage Google Meet / calendar connections and join preferences there.

What still needs to be true for Jamy to join

Even with a matching join rule, a calendar meeting usually needs:

  1. To exist on the calendar connected to Jamy

  2. A valid meeting link (Meet, Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.)

  3. At least two participants (for calendar-synced events)

Meetings that don’t qualify may show as Not to be processed (grey) on the Calendar.

Manual / instant meetings (via Add Meeting) mainly need a valid meeting link and are not limited by these calendar join presets in the same way.

After you change the rule

  1. Check upcoming events on Calendar.

  2. Blue (To be processed) ≈ Jamy plans to join.

  3. Grey (Not to be processed) ≈ Jamy will skip.

  4. For a one-off exception, open that meeting and use Process meeting.

Tips

  • Prefer a stricter global rule (e.g. Accepted or External) and turn Process on for rare exceptions.

  • After connecting a new calendar, confirm the Jamy will join dropdown is set as you expect.

  • Rename your bot under Settings → Meeting Bot so attendees recognise it.

  • Join rules apply to calendar auto-join. Instant/manual meetings and notes@jamy.ai invites are separate paths.
